For several years we had an old gentleman at church who was a Canadian and then
moved to the states and became an American citizen. When his daughter first introduced
me to him, she mentioned that he had been a Canadian Air Force cadet.
I offered to take him flying in the MKIII, and when she brought him over to the
house, he brought with him a picture of the Tiger Moth he and his brother had
learned to fly in, both of them looked quite fine in their cadet uniforms.
We flew for a bit over an hour, it took him a little while to get comfortable with
the controls, but then it seemed to pretty much come back to him. I had him
fly it the rest of the flight, until we turned final at my place.
Good stuff.
