<<We flew for a bit over an hour, it took him a little while to get

I once took a pilot for a flight in my Challenger. He was an Ex Red Arrows
pilot (That is as good as the Blue Angels. Maybe a bit better??) Of course
when I fly the speed wanders a bit and the altitude goes up and down. Not
when he flew it. It was as if the plane was on rails. A very chastening
experience.
I remember learning to fly in a Tiger Moth. The problem was that the nose
completely covered the landing area when you turned onto finals. As I had
just about sorted out flying in a straight line it was a bit disconcerting
to have to stick my head out the side of the cockpit to see where the
landing strip was because that completely changed the picture.
I soon learned that the fact that they couldn`t see over the nose of a
Spitfire was the reason for the long curved approaches we see Spitfire
pilots making in old films.

For several years we had an old gentleman at church who was a Canadian and
then moved to the states and became an American citizen. When his daughter
first introduced me to him, she mentioned that he had been a Canadian Air
Force cadet.
I offered to take him flying in the MKIII, and when she brought him over to
the house, he brought with him a picture of the Tiger Moth he and his
brother had learned to fly in, both of them looked quite fine in their cadet
uniforms.
We flew for a bit over an hour, it took him a little while to get
comfortable with the controls, but then it seemed to pretty much come back
to him. I had him fly it the rest of the flight, until we turned final at my
place.
Good stuff.

I just finished getting my web page back up on the web. It can be found at:
http://www.jackbhart.com/firefly.html
If you visit the site, I would appreciate it very much if you would report any
errors or bfoken links that you find.
I have been grounded for several years. Shortly I will be visiting the FireFly
and getting it ready to fly.

Sorry Jack, I am getting a 404 error from your link. I am sure it is just
some little thing, maybe the DNS servers need a day or two to get the update
(if this is a new host for your domain name).
I have referenced your old web page many times while building and have been
toying with the idea of putting up a site about the building of my firefly.
Just a matter of finding the motivation and time to get it done.
As soon as it gets warm enough to get out and work on the hangar (or other
outside stuff) I am afraid I won't be spending too much time in front of a
computer. :)

Jack:
It may be possible that you left out the file directory and the address should be: http://www.jackbhart.com/firefly/firefly.html
This gets me to what looks like your page.
