Unfortunately the broadcast itself was a disaster. The DJ who was on before my story was due to go out did 2 hours live He then switched to another computer which was scheduled to run automatically for another 2 hours of the DJ`s stuff and then play my story, and went home. Unfortunately the volume slider on the new computer was not advanced and the signal was going no farther than the mixing desk. The problem was realised by my brother in law who was monitoring things on his own computer at home He contacted the chief engineer who unfortunately lived 20 miles away and had to readjust things remotely and switch the broadcast back to the original computer. This took time and Atrak the OTHER Otter finally went out about 7 minutes late and as there was nothing going on but a carrier wave on the station I should think that all the listeners had given up in disgust. My chance at world wide fame, I was already signing the film contract, gone down the Swannee.
