Dee,early on the Jabiru had some harmonic issues that caused flywheel s to l
oosen. They increased from 1/4 bolts to 5/16 and also added dowel pins at th
e flywheel attach point. They determined using a wood or wood core prop solv
ed the problem. Prince makes a wood core carbon fiber prop for the Jabiru 22
00. I have a Sensenich wood on mine and a Pronce for a spare.

Subject: | Jabiru Prop Choices |
Good information and valuable to me Gary. I thought there may be a
reasons since I saw so many wooden props on Jabiru=99s. I found
the website and it seems you have your choice of carbon fiber or wood.
Apparently Prince picks the pitch for you and the diameter.
Thanks,

That is them!! Travis said they needed 45 bucks each .. yours must be
new old stock? Call Bryan, guessing you can sell them for less than
they pay?
My missing parts came in from California finally...after a month
and a half worth of promises...! The 4 lord mounts were in the box.:-)
This after I made my own!! :-)
Installing control cables today... Wings remain to be sprayed with
Poly spray and Insignia white...and some red trim... The engine is a 447
that was rebuilt by Danny Day...I will do the one hour run in
again...and re torque the heads...paint and go fly....Herb
Must be 100 degrees in my garage...!!!

Lord Mounts come in different densities. The hardest I find
best because it reduces changes in thrust line when power is
applied.
Each Lord Mount has a stock number on it. You can check
density with these numbers.
