Dear Listers, There are just a few days left for this year's List Fund Raiser. If you've been putting off making a Contribution until the last minute, well, this is it! The last minute, that is... :-) There are some GREAT new gift selections to choose from this year. I personally want at least three of them! There's probably something you can't live without too! And, best of all it supports your Lists! Please remember that there isn't any sort of commercial advertising on the Lists and the *only* means of keeping these Lists running is through your Contributions during this Fund Raiser. Let's make this a "Black Friday" for the Lists! Please make a Contribution today! http://www.matronics.com/contribution Or, drop a personal check in the mail to: Matt Dralle / Matronics 581 Jeannie Way Livermore CA 94550 Thank you! This was to check that the signal from the predictor/radar/tracker did not align the guns 180 degrees out of sync. (It happened sometimes anyway) I don`t think that I have heard a reference to `pots` in that sense since those days. On that subject... The servos have feedback pots (sorry; potentiometers) that can drive an LED ladder display. They have to have them for feedback to the controller. For a controller, http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__18309__Hobbyking_LED_Servo_Tester.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wt46maA-MRc This one has a display, but realistically, the knob should be display enough. In at least one of the other lives, it was slang for something else, too, but that's for another day. What you're describing was likely just a bigger, heavier precursor to the little r/c servos currently discussed. If this post offends you; believe me, there are worse things in life to be offended by. Just to keep it Kolb related. I'm making a mount below the nose for the action cam. The next video should be a little more exciting. I looked for the offending words and couldn't find them, must have been on an attachment or some other obscure place. As for the mount under the nose, make it as solid as you can. You will probably find that there are certain RPM's that do not shake or jello. I suggest that on you initial flight, test that by flying at an rpm for a while, then go through the rest keeping track of which is which. You will probably find that the faster speeds will be the best. Let me know what you find.
