| Subject: | What Are You Thankful For...? |
Dear Listers,
Here in the United States, Thursday is our National day of Thanksgiving. Many
of us will be traveling to be with our families and friends to share in generous
feasts of plenty and giving thanks for the many blessings that have been bestowed
upon us.
Many Listers have expressed over the last couple of weeks how thankful they are
for the Email Lists and Forums here on the Matronics servers and for all of the
assistance and comradery they have experienced being a part of the Lists.
One of my favorite comments is when someone writes to me and says something like,
"Its the first thing I do in the morning while I'm having my morning coffee!".
That's a wonderful tribute to the purpose and function of these Lists.
Its always great to hear I'm not the only one that jumps out of bed each morning
to check my List email!!
Won't you take a minute today and show your appreciation for these Lists and for
their continued operation and upgrade?

RE: "As for the mount under the nose, make it as solid as you can."
Are you SURE a camera under the nose is a good idea? Kolbs are a bit too easy
to nose over; especially when trying to get unstuck with throttle (don't ask me
how I know).

Jerry,
See attached pictures. I made a combination nose skid, pull handle, pitot and
static tube mount under the nose. I will mount the camera on the upper portion
of that mount. I have never had a problem nosing over except for one time when
I failed to tie down the tail properly when testing the engine. The nose
skid saved me from having to repair my nose cone.

guys
stopped and chatted with a guy who has a trailer made in the same
factory as the HaulMark... U.S. Cargo...name of company or
trailer....tandem...let down door / ramp...28 feet... Tapered nose..
paid 8k and will take 5k... Herb
I have his phone if anyone is interested...in Scottsville,Ky...
