Any idea why sealing the elevator gap had such an effect on the rudder effectiveness?
I wouldn't have expected that.
I'd love to see a photo of the seals you built. I'm planning to recover my Firestar
next year and gap seals are one of the things I need to figure out how to
install.

Kolb tail sections are very dirty. It is a wonder they fly as well as they
do.
Wish I had the enthusiasm to do some experimenting with my MKIII. I even
thought about VG's. ;-)
Got to many other hobbies going to find time to fly now days.
