You probably could use a commercial contoured back support cushion on your present
seat. For a low budget test, tape a small pillow in place on your seat so
that it is located at the small of your back (just above butt) to see if proper
support helps - I am sure it will. I have a perfect (for me) back support
that I use my car, bought in a discount store and would love to buy a second
one if I could find it again. I carved my own foam seat back for my Firestar
II to get the best fit & support.
