Subject: inspection and corrosion      
      I may be looking at a kolb in the Houston area. Any input on how much and
      what corrosion might be a factor in that close -to-salt water location?
      
      Anyone in that area with  kolb maintenance experience who would be willing
      to provide a second opinion for a fee?

      I flew my Firestar about 25 miles from the Gulf for years and never had a
      bit of corrosion from salt.  The usual spot rust on the steel parts, of
      course.
