Subject: | Weight of a bare forward fuselage for a Firefly |
I'm toying around with an original design for an ultralight and wondering if anyone
knows what the welded forward fuselage for a Firefly (or Firestar) weighs?
I'm coming up with a weight of about 33 pounds for the forward fuselage in my
design and I'd like to know how that compares with the Kolbs. I'm referring
here to the factory welded part ahead of the boom tube, without landing gear or
any attachments.
If anyone knows the weight of a bare Firefly wing panel, I'd be interested in knowing
that also.
Thanks
Martin B.

conjecture out of such a trifling investment of fact.
