It is basically the same angle as t he nose pod. I have had no problems inflight. I think .060 Lexan is a minimu m thickness to eliminate the chance of any bending inflight. I also don =99t exceed 70mph. It is actually well reinforced on the sides with aluminum channel that fits o ver the cage rails. I put rubber weather stripping in the channel where the w indshield sits over the entry side rail to protect the cages covering. I =99ll attach a couple of more pictures. These are actually pictures taken over a year ago. I=99ve made an all n ew dash, added Black Max hydraulic brakes and gone from my 377 Rotax to a 2702 Hirth engine and gearbox w/ a 64=9D Powerfin prop over this winter. I =99ve only got to fly it once this year and it was just too cold. Maybe next week?
