In order to have everyone view your postings on Facebook you have to set your permissions to "everyone". I have my granddaughter show me so I can't explain it. If you put it on YouTube everyone can see it but the music has to be licensed or it will be muted. I have heard if you just use unlicensed music it is okay or just parts of a song but I don't know how much of a song you can use before you need a license to pay the artist for his material. You don't need a license for personal use. Vimeo needs a password to access so I think they don't consider that "public" and copyrighted music is okay to use. Respectfully, Dennis Baber Cape Coral, Fl baberdk@gmail.com Stay Curious

I recently bought a Firestar 2 from a fellow in Oxford Kansas. This plane was once owned by Gilpen, I hope I spelled his name correct. I will remove the skins and do what repairs are needed. There is a broken weld in the fuselage were the second seat lower bar would mount. After stripping the plane I will weld that cross member. There was a bunch of damage to the rudder, I finished that today, pics to follow. The plane as I bought it, it came with a trailer in the background. (http://s275.photobucket.com/user/dngspot/media/kolb2_zpsymezzpwi.jpeg.html) The damage to the tail. (http://s275.photobucket.com/user/dngspot/media/rudder%20damage_zpsit4cdr1i.jpeg.html) The repair. (http://s275.photobucket.com/user/dngspot/media/20180908_144446_zps0bsifbig.jpg.html) This is the vertical fin. I have not seen one like this, has anyone? Yes we did! Flew there from Lancaster County, PA 0n June 30, 2011. My friend Wilmer Zimmerman in his FireStar II and me in my FireFly. We stayed overnight at Gregg Allison's place in Virginia on the way down and back. Gregg was a very generous host and we got to see his prototype FireStar II side by side with nose wheel he was building then. And yes, it was a very memorial event for us! We went to the Wright Brothers Memorial today. While we were there several planes took off from the strip on the property. I was just wondering is anyone has flown their Kolb in there. It looks like it would be a memorable experience. > > -------- > West1m > Hastings, MN > > > Read this topic online here: > > http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=482709#482709 > > > Attachments: > > http://forums.matronics.com//files/wright_393.jpg > >

Finishing up the repairs on the Firefly nose bowl, next comes the windshield. The minimal windshield we had on it before was not very good. We would like to see other options for windshields for the Firestar / Firefly, hopefully this next time we can come up with something that works better to keep the wind buffet in your face to a minimum. Yeah, that's what I had in mind! Do you have any other pictures of how it latches in place at the front and the back? -------- Richard Pike Kolb MKIII N420P (420ldPoops) Kolb Firefly Part 103 legal (Engine is in place, now for the wiring.
