Without a doubt there is a location for a passenger. Could the factory option for 2nd seat be the seven rib wing instead of the five? Thanks for the very nice pictures & advice. My mission of scattering my wife's ashes went off without a hitch. Its been really dry here and the extra airplane traffic did not help the condition of the runway. I secured a 2x6 to the rear of my quad trailer to set the tail wheels of the Kolbs in to pull them to the top of the hill so that we weren't covering every thing in clouds of dust. The Carbon cub and highlander we just tied to the tail wheel and pulled them to the top. I have no idea of how many people were here, but I was kept hopping most of the time. Mike Hale from Seattle came down with his firestar and his lovely wife to fly with us. He was using a short wind screen which did little to help his speed or keep the wind out of his face. Its quite nice if you are not in a hurry, but I found that the wind always hit me in the wrong place and made my nose run. Snot streaks on my glasses was not my idea of a good time. We braced his screen so that it didn't keep bending over on him. I was able to do a couple of short videos of our two flights together. https://vimeo.com/290099921 https://vimeo.com/290089488 password owyheeflyer Larry -- *The older I get, the less tolerant I am of those who are intolerant of others.* *If you forward this email, or any part of it, please remove my email address before sending.* ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 10:14:49 AM PST US Subject: Kolb-List: Re: video's From: "west1m" Great videos ! If you have a 5 rib wing, and plan to carry any passengers, you have some serious modifications in your future. http://forums.matronics.com/download.php?id=4440 -------- Richard Pike Kolb MKIII N420P (420ldPoops) Kolb Firefly Part 103 legal (Repairing the fiberglass nose bowl.
