Doing some mods on a recently purchased Firestar 2 and was looking to replace the tanks. Found these for $14 each (shipping costs more than tanks!) and they are 6.6 gallon instead of 5! How many times could you have used an extra 3 gallons of reserve? Just an FYI!! Bought a nice little Firestar2 N9149G that was completed in 6/96 and I believe kit # was FS359. Didn't get any factory construction manuals or plans with it and was wondering if anyone had a set they wanted to get rid of? I am especially interested in the info pertaining to Weight/Balance, CG location. I would gladly reimburse anyone for copy fee's/shipping. Thanks for helping me out in advance! From: Charlie England <ceengland7@gmail.com>
Unfortunately, we've had to cancel the Pumpkin Drop for this year. Three months of drought, then almost 10" of rain in the last 10 days. Too wet to safely park planes, even if the runway could handle them. So 'save the date'; 1st Saturday in November, 2020.
