Subject: | What Are You Thankful For...? |
Dear Listers,
Here in the United States, Thursday is our National day of Thanksgiving. Many
of us will be traveling to be with our families and friends to share in generous
feasts of plenty and giving thanks for many blessings that have been bestowed
upon us.
Many Listers have expressed over the last couple of weeks how thankful they are
for the Email Lists and Forums here on the Matronics servers and for all of the
assistance and comradery they have experienced being a part of the Lists.
One of my favorite kind of
comments is when write to me and says something like, "Its the first thing I do
in the morning while I'm having my morning coffee!". That's a wonderful tribute
to the purpose and function of these Lists. Its always great to hear I'm
not the only one that jumps
out of bed each morning to check my List email!!
Won't you take a minute today and show your appreciation for these Lists and for
their continued operation and upgrade?

Yikes! When I replaced the modules on a 912ULS they were $900 for the pair
but that was because the originals were defective from the factory.

Wouldn't you know it. The Bing manual doesn't show either of those carb
numbers. It does have the last jetting offered by Rotax. For the 503DC:
158 Main Jet, a 45 idle jet, 2.70 Needle jet, an 11K2 needle, the clip
should be in the middle groove on the needle and the idle screw
adjustment should be .5 (1/2) turn in after contact with the slide. I'm
assuming you don't have the intake silencer. If you do then the Main jet
goes down to a 148, the needle jet is a 2.68 and the idle screw is turned
in one full turn after contact. The idle jet and the jet needle stay the
same.

Subject: | Firefly or Firestar wing weight? |
Greetings,
Has anyone weighed a complete, painted wing for a FireStar or FireFly? Just curious
what it weighs for a possible future project.
Thanks,
Rusty
