OKAY....I pulled the bowls off my carbs and the main jets are 158. I was told that
the carbs were rejetted for the 7100 ft altitude of Taos but it appears it
was not. What the machine does have is a HACman inflight mixture control installed.
That is what they must have meant when I was told it was rejetted. The
actual owner of the plane had passed away and I got the info 2nd hand. I have
been on the HACman website and this thing looks interesting but still trying to
figure out how it works exactly. Don't know if it will really be a benefit to
me here in the lower altitudes of SoCal (740ft). Thanks to everyone who supplied
info/insight to the carb jetting, I will keep this info as it was helpful!
