Check out Ben Kairys Firestar 2 Phazer conversion on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCZLj-JYMrY
Ive seen his work on utube! If I had fabrication skills, welding equipment, maybe
a lathe and mill......I'd be Ben Kairy!
Maybe one day. As it stands, I'm gonna fly the 582 for awhile. I have a fresh
670 ready to be swapped in. Its minimal work. I'll run that . I am a long
time 2t motocrosser. Simple, light weight, easy to work on.....

This is what I use for the firefly. Will transfer 5 gal. in about 2 minutes.
Works best if you can get the can close to the same level as the tank.

John W used to have a fueling tube made from maybe 1.5" PVC for his Kolbra.
One end had a 90 degree elbow pointing up and one on the other end down. He
would take the cap off the rear tank and put the down elbow into the tank
and pour fuel into the elbow pointing up. The down elbow may have had a
2-3" extension and the up elbow a larger diameter pipe adapter. It seemed
to work well.

What happens if you apply the enricher as it starts to bog down?
If making the mixture more rich helps then it is running lean when
bogging down and you likely have an air leak. The only two places I can
think for air leak is the carb boot or the crank seals. Carb boots are
notorious for this and easy to replace. I hope your crank seals are
fine.
If making the mixture more rich contributes to the problem it is already
running too rich. Are you seeing any additional smoke at 4000 RPM? If
too rich, perhaps the little rubber tip on the enricher is bad and
letting too much fuel in.
Let us know what you find........
=8Bi've been watching videos about 2 stroke engines "bogging down" at
higher RPM's. one thing could be bad seals on the engine crankcase and/or
carbs. the engines run fine at lower rpm's but when power is added the engi
ne starts to "suck air" thru old seals and so you have too much air causing
the engine to "bogg down". i've purchased 2 rebuild kits for my carbs, let
's hope that's all it is.=C2-
Rotax wants $525 each for new carbs.=C2-

Yes, I bought a handheld fuel pump powered by two AA batteries. Theyre for sale
on Amazon for approximately $16. The base goes into the gas can and a 2 foot
hose goes into the plastic tank top.
