    Subject: Clutch mechanism &springs
          
      I just got a new clutch mechanism and springs for the cbox and 503 after wai
      ting over a month from aircraft spruce.to be fair it was the vendor who said
       it would be shipped next Friday 4 times (arg) what I am having trouble with
       are the 4 outside Allen headed screws that hold the plate on. I tried heat a
      nd turned Allen wrench til I thought it would snap. Did they do something cr
      azy like reverse threads?it look like the new mechanism would go in with jus
      t the plate removed or do I have to remove the big center nut also? This is n
      ew to me and never watched anyone else do it. Thanks in advance.       Dana
