Hello Kolbers,
When I bought my Kolbra kit, third hand, about ten years ago, I recieved two fiberglass
droop style wingtips. Only about a dozen Kolbra models were ever produced,
but assuming the wing rib are the same, a Mark III might also use these
tips. There has been a lot of back and forth about wing tips in the flying press
this winter. I am cureous to hear what other Kolb builder use for wing tips.

I had standard wings and tips on my MKIII. Flew better than any other Kolb I have
flown. Was a little late doing it, but John Gilpin's vortex generators were
the icing on the cake. They made a damn good flying Kolb fly so much better
at slow speeds, climb, and extreme maneuvering. I tested and flew the hours
off a later model MKIII at the Kolb factory with droop tips. I couldn't tell
any difference between them and stock tips.
