Is there any recommended way of attaching the breakaway system: epoxy, drill and rivet, drill and bolt, or combination of some? Unless new tail wheel socket is a loose fit, then add epoxy to "fill in the gaps". The main strength would still come from the bolt. MK3 fuel tanks Thanks guys for your leads to replacing my 10 gal. Fuel Tanks. I know theyre not the original design tanks, but when I was first building my plane (over 25 yrs ago), I lived in Pennsylvania very neat the Kolb factory and was lucky enough to be able to drive over to there place and occasionally even visit with Homer Kolb. They modified the tank pan for me to hold those 2 big tanks and I never thought it would be a complicated thing to replace them. Again thanks!
