It was very light if I recall properly, very sparse instruments, seems like once he had a photo of a radio on the panel :-), Interior was just a seat pad, nothing fancy at all, but I'm sure if built today would be heavier for same reasons all of yours are "this is only a pound, this is only 3 pounds" etc. Ken flew R/C models, and knew how much weight made a difference in flying qualities.
