Hi Netters.
Nitrile gloves are superior to latex and vinyl gloves.I Purchase mine from a local
automotive supply store.
If you get epoxy on your skin DO NOT romove it with acetone. Acetone can easily
penetrate your skin and if it has epoxy dissolved in it then the acetone carries
the epoxy through your skin into your blood stream.
Use a waterless hand cleaner. If you do not have this use Varsol or equivalent.
It will dissolve the epoxy but it does not penetrate the skin like acetone does.
The light cotton gloves inside the vinyl gloves will absorb the perspiration on
your hands and make the use of the nitrile gloves bearable. When you are finished
an epoxy job, clean the gloves with waterless hand cleaner, remove them,
turn them inside out and hang them out to dry. The next time that you want to
use them, powder the inside with fresh talcom powder.
You can continue to use them until you get an accidental hole in them .
