Subject: | Why am I not getting many of the list emails |
--> KR-List message posted by: <jeffyork40@qx.net>
What am I doing wrong.
For the past many months I have only received KR list mail every once on a
great while. I do however seem to get every usage guideline email so I do
not think it is my ISP blocking Spam. Besides, they don't seem to block any
Spam.
I did however change ISP's about a year ago. Any thoughts.
I am back to work getting my cowling put back together and getting N839BG
back in the air after a year of sitting so I think it would be a great time
to catch up. I also think it would be a good idea to hear from the KR group
on items I should look out for on a plane that has been sitting for a year.
Hope that does not offend anyone but in the last 2 years we have a new
child, I have taken a job promotion and the company has downsized greatly,
i.e. more work more stress and well, you know the deal. Anyway all that has
caused me to lose focus and have a squeeze on my free time.
Hope this gets through.

Jeff,
This is not the official KRNet list. This one was created a couple of years
ago when we transitioned to the current list. I never unsubscribed because
as you note there is almost no traffic. You need to send a blank e-mail to
"krnet-join@mylist.net". You'll get back a confirmation e-mail shortly and
then you'll be on the real list. I get between 10 and 30 e-mails a day from
the list.
Your e-mail says you are in Lexington, KY. You are very close to this
year's KR Gathering. It will be held this month the 23-26 in Mount Vernon,
IL. You're only four and a half hours down I-64 from the Gathering by car.
If you choose to fly your KR you can cover the 250 miles in under two hours.
There are twenty-three KR pilots that have pre-registered for the Gathering
indicating that they will be flying their KRs to Mount Vernon later this
month. Take a look at the web site KRGathering.org for additional
information. Hope to meet you there in a couple of weeks.
Regards,
Bob Lee
