--> L29-List message posted by: Bill Geipel <czech6@earthlink.net> Only 2 guesses from all you jet jocks, I'm disappointed. The x-wind limit is 23kts. However the military put a 15kt limit on single pilot ops. Because if you were single pilot, you were probably a student pilot. When cruising along and you enter the traffic pattern, if the flaps won't extend, the stabilizer won't trim. In the landing flap configuration, the stab leading edge has a lower AOA. This results in some extra elevator authority as it is now sticking up higher. With no flaps, the stab. is at a higher AOA. The elevator does not have as much authority so you need extra speed to compensate. The answer to the brake question; Brake pressure gauge indicates pressure applied when retracted. No hydraulic pressure is indicated. ??? So your back seater lands the airplane. He stops it on the runway and then says, "You have the aircraft". You, in the front seat then proceed to taxi into the grass because you can't turn the airplane. Is this Normal or Not. ???You get a "FIRE" light during cruise. What is the first thing you should do. Ernie knows this so he can't play. So why do we leave the Engine switch on after shut down? (3rd switch top row.)

You may have burned a hole in tail pipe and with a reduction, light should go out. Then you can quickly land at closest field using reduced power, rather than shutting engine off and using ext. Engine switch stays on after shut down to allow lubrication to engine components. because fuel pump continues to run. while engine spools down Robert E. As you can probably imagine I have a lot more in it than I can get for it. With all the radios in it I would want $150,000.00. If I took the Garmin 430 and the HSI out I would get $125,000 or so. I would be open to an offer. Do let me know your opinion? Thanks Noell

1.16 MISSING_SUBJECT Missing Subject: header --> L29-List message posted by: "ROBERT SCHWARTZ" <schwartzcompany@worldnet.att.net> I am trying to buy 2 anti collision lights for my L29. These are made by Goodrich Hellas Aerospace, Oldsmar , Florida. . (Type 2LA002760-00 ) Does anyone know who to go through for best price. they are very special small strobes that mount on top and bottom of fuselage and are used by Czech Air force on L29, L139 and Mig and are very expensive. Second question. There is a complete pitot static check service box used for L29 and L39. It is about 12 x 12 in size. I want to get one and I need a part number. Probably a KV number????? Robert E. "Duct Leak" blowing hot air on the fire detectors. Engine switch stays on to lubricate the high pressure fuel system with fuel until it stops turning is main reason. What was the deal with sutton.
