Tail stands are at least $2500. Tow bars can be made or bought for $750. Doug Weske

Hello guys,
I am in need of a factory L-29 tow bar (the one with cables) and a tail
stand.
Anyone out there that has a "reasonably" priced extra of each??
Appreciate any help.
Thanks

Subject: | assembling a -29? |
--> L29-List message posted by: AINut <ainut@hiwaay.net>
A member of this list has a -29 for sale, but it is in pieces. Since
I'd have to carry it across the US, this brings up a coupla questions:
1) are they hard to reassemble? Can a non-A&P do this?
2) can I fint the pieces into a 24' enclosed car trailer? More than one
trip necessary?
3) anything to be aware of, or advantages to be had while it's apart?
Service? Relacement? Inspection? Btw, who *does* the annual on these
birds???
Thanks!
David
<hopefully, a new owner soon!!>

If I buy and assemble a -29, I assume it won't be difficult to find
pilots who will fly it with me until I can get my LOA, and split the
fuel costs??? Or am I all wet here?

Where is the 29 and where is it's new base to be.
Share fuel with a 29 pilot will be tuff as we are all broke.
Just kidding about broke as I think Bill is rich.
Gary
PS All the parts won't fit in your trailer as it fills a 40' container.
