The new term is EAR experimental aircraft rating. There are several guys in alabama with a lot of experience in the L-29 Alex Makarenko flew them in Iraq as an instructor. I am down in Jacksonville and would be more than willing to fly with you in your airplane or mine. Gary's airplane is a good one. He has gone through it from top to bottom.
