Jorgen,
I have the factory mach meter, but I use a F-86 airspeed indicator which
has Knots 50-700 and mach. but it is just static and pitot. the factory
mach meter is attached to the yellow sensor for the flaps up under the left side
of the panel (on the lower inside of the nose wall.)

Did you all decide where to go or did we lose interest? Or run out of money just
thinking about it?
I have 2 guys that want formation training. So I need to tell them which way to
point the nose.

Formation will be easier! Not much safer, but easier.
If I can in touch with P.J., I'll come out and we can fly formation.
I still need your address to send the formation manual.
Send it to my czech6 address.

Several years ago, Mojave charged CJAA more for fuel then regular fly-in customers.
I would suggest California City Airport (L71) is about 5 min away and has the
best fuel prices locally (and I am sure the manager will work with you).
We currently do not have a hotel, so you would need to stay in mojave (unless
you want to sleep on my couch and floor).
If you need tools for repairs, I have a hanger full of tools to make repairs.

Thanks Greg.
Sounds good. My air speed indicator show indicated airspeed, true airspeed
(or equivalent) and mach number.
The electronics side is curious. I do not have the yellow sensor, that is
now all done by the air speed indocator.
Do you have wiring details for yellow box?

It APPEARS that the last two Factory Overhauled Zero Time M701-500 engines
will be sold to a NON-aviaton, Non-L-29 buyer later this week.
IF there are any L-29 guys who want one of these engines now is the time to
contact me!!!
I would prefer to see them used for L-29's, but MONEY talks......
Happy Flying,
Scott
Two out of 11 engines. What's left: 1973 & 1982 overhauled in 1990.

The price at Fox stinks and the management will not deal with you.
Mojave and Cal City have much better price on fuel.
