Subject: Ok guys another part needed
--> L29-List message posted by: "Brian Colombo" <Bcolombo@twcny.rr.com> I am looking for the overpressure dump valve for the rear canopy nitrogen system. If you are sitting in the rear cockpit with the canopy closed it is over your right shoulder. It is a simple spring loaded overpressure dump with a rubber seal inside. My rubber seal is old, dry and cracked and just will not seal. I either need a new seal for it or a new or used serviceable unit. All my nitrogen is gone in 20 min and I here it coming from there. I could prob. just make a new rubber seal but I figured I would check if anyone had this unit or the seal first. Thanks as always. you guys are really great when it comes to helping a newbie such as myself. Brian Colombo N6235M

--> L29-List message posted by: <bud@psidisk.com> If the accident reference regards the preliminary report of 3/10/06 for an aircraft type of "L29" listed at the "FAA web site" is as follows: http://www.faa.gov/data_statistics/accident_incident/preliminary_data/media/I_0313_N.txt Then I would point out that while the aircraft make/model is listed as "L29", the aircraft type is listed as LOCKHEED 1329-23E The reference aircraft, N116DD, with a crew of one and two passengers suffered a nose gear collapse with the aircraft skidding off the end of the runway at Love Field (Dallas). I don't think any Lockheeds were manufactured in Czech.
