    Subject: HOT or NOT??
--> L29-List message posted by: SD737@aol.com Hi guys, We need your help on this one and we're asking for everyone's participation. Please give your two cents worth. It is important that you guys kick in your thoughts because we are all L-29 owners and have a fairly diverse background and IFthis engine experienced something out of limits it should be addressed. Here is the question of the day... HOT or NOT? Here is a link that you can copy and paste into your Internet browser. The link will NOT work with AOL, so if you have AOL you will have to copy and paste it into Internet explorer outside of AOL. This is a recent video from a start sequence of a CJ-610 (approx. 3,300lbs. thrust) that has been installed into an L-29 and the EGT gauge was NOT yet connected. The explanation by the operator is that there was residual preservative oil in the bottom of the honeycomb section in the tail pipe, BUT the engine had been started several times prior to this start, so I suspect that ANY residual oil would be completely burnt off prior to this start. Appreciate your input and enjoy the "Barbecue"! My vote is HOT, VERY HOT! "Weenie Roast"!! "Beer Here"!! "Hot Tamale"!! What's your vote??? Fill in the blank "_____________________"!! _http://s152512866.onlinehome.us/anonymous/GE_Start.swf_ (http://s152512866.onlinehome.us/anonymous/GE_Start.swf) NOTE: You will need Adobe Macromedia Flash 8 and if you don't have Adobe Macromedia Flash 8 you can use this link to upload it for free. It's a good utility to have anyway. Just copy and paste the link and go to Adobe's site and then click the download and run the program and then you can view the CJ-610 engine start. This one is a GOOD video to see. _http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=Shockwav eFlash_ (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash)

Subject: Link for HOT or NOT
--> L29-List message posted by: SD737@aol.com It looks like the links didn't come through Matronics very well. It seems Matronics duplicates the link and writes it twice when I send it AND Matronics adds parenthesis around the link, but there should be NO (parenthesis) around the link. Hot or Not video link: _http://s152512866.onlinehome.us/anonymous/GE_Start.swf_ (http://s152512866.onlinehome.us/anonymous/GE_Start.swf) Link for Adobe Macro Media Flash 8 is: _http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=Shockwav eFlash_ (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash)

--> L29-List message posted by: "Bill" <czech6@kellin.net> We? Is that those involved in the fuel bettting? He told me the same thing. Looked hot to me. But if the start EGT limit is 900+ then maybe it didn't get that hot. Hope he didn't screw up his motor. I'd feel bad for him. ----- Original Message ----- From: <SD737@aol.com> Sent: Wednesday, May 03, 2006 3:03 PM Subject: [SPAM] L29-List: HOT or NOT?? > --> L29-List message posted by: SD737@aol.com > > Hi guys, > > We need your help on this one and we're asking for everyone's > participation. > Please give your two cents worth.
