I put a = fuel filter and a fuel/ water separator in line out of the pump before = the filler hose. Is one of each enough??? The fuel/water separator is = also a filter so I basically have 2 filters inline one of them that also = removes water. Do i need to worry about anything running this stuff? = does it change performance at all? At this time kerosene is $2.79 gal = and jet A is 3.95/gal at my airport. Running K1 is the only way I can = continue to fly. Am I better running diesel #1 or #2. Thanks in advance. = I know this topic has been talked about several times but I wanted to = make sure I got ans. to my specific concerns. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 07:35:14 PM PST US From: Colyergreg@aol.com Subject: Re: L29-List: I know this has been beet to death but... --> L29-List message posted by: Colyergreg@aol.com that's fine. You should not notice any difference. Diesel fuel is very dirty so you don't want to run that. Putting in a gallon with a full tank is good once in a while to add some lubricant to the fuel. I run Keosene most of the time. ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 09:02:54 PM PST US From: "Brian Colombo" Subject: L29-List: ok then on to my oxygen system --> L29-List message posted by: "Brian Colombo" I put O2 in my l-29 for the first time today to test the system and when = I turn on the o2 shutoff valve in each cockpit I get a free flow of = oxygen. I move the lever on the reg to the only other position it will = allow and the flow increases. The little blinker in the gauge is always = open when I have the system on. I thought the system worked kind of like = a scuba regulator and it flowed when you draw air through it. Are my = diaphragms just shot? anyone ever rebuild these units? Thanks in advance = as always for any help. ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 11:42:21 PM PST US From: "Gail Taylor" Subject: RE: L29-List: I know this has been beet to death but... --> L29-List message posted by: "Gail Taylor" Brian, K1 kerosene,#1 diesel are the same.#2 diesel is a little to heavy unless you want everybody to know where your going.Add a second filter for safety, happy flying,Pete -----Original Message----- From: owner-l29-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-l29-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Colyergreg@aol.com Sent: Saturday, May 27, 2006 6:35 PM Subject: Re: L29-List: I know this has been beet to death but... --> L29-List message posted by: Colyergreg@aol.com that's fine.
