My new one is about an inch too narrow, I figure it got squeezed in shipping but it also appears to be about 1/4" too long. My old one was about 1/4"too narrow but fitted very well. Does the jury think mine will shorten up about 1/4 inch if I warm the pexiglass and put a power pack to spread the sides, will it spring back or will it not spring right back? To narrow is normal anytime these canopies get replaced. When you close it. yuo just need to push it out. Springing back is doubtful. I would n't try to strech it out. Just push, or oull from the outside when closing. ----- Original Message ----- From: Neville Cameron To: l29-list@matronics.com Sent: Wednesday, May 16, 2007 1:24 AM Subject: L29-List: canopy fit Please can anyone advise if canopies are coachbuilt or done in a jig.
