Calm down,
I think that you will find that the filter is an
existing part. It doesn't make sense to design something with a new and
exotic filter.
I think that a visit to a filter shop would be worthwhile. No one
puts weird specs on a filter, the dimensions and filter size will be
standard.
No one, not even a commie, wants a lame duck part.

And I'll give you $80 a per filter.

actually..I have tried to match the filter up with an exsisting US filter.
None match up. (I went to a filter shop) However the factory does still make
those filters. Unfortunatly, the dollar has even taken a dump against the Czech
Koruna. I have gotton a quote from the factory (had to have it translated as
no one there spoke or typed english) If 50 or filters are purchased at once
the price gets down to about $62 ea. plus shipping. 25- 50 filters and they are
about $75.00 ea. less then 25 and they are about $80 ea. So not getting a
filter won't be the reason our jets stop flying.

As long as they are making them, even paying the $80 + shipping, would
probably be cheaper than getting WIX or Fram to tool up for a short production
run...
