Hi Guys
Tim down here in OZ trying to start the jet
Here's what's happening
When we press the start button for 3-4 seconds , the button does not
stay in
We opened the starter box and when we hold the button in and keep it
pushed in the starter box goes through its cycle
But!via a multi meter when the cycle gets to the point of applying power
to the starter it trips the eng start switch in the cocpit (last switch
top right hand row , front cocpit}
If we disconnect the power lead to the stater , the cycle goes on as
long as the start button is depressed
We applied power to the starter directly and it turnes but doesn't
engage...we only applied power via a battery charger but will be rigging
up an external power supply this week as we suspect the batt charger
didn't give it enough zap to actually spin fast enough and engage
Any thoughts 'ideas or help ..!!! much appreciated
