Here's another call out for assistance. The F/C gear indicator works and lights
three red for up and three green for down; however, the test function does not
seem to work? The unit brightness is not adjustable either, is this normal,
any suggestions?

The test is supposed to light up all 6 lights. Do it in the dark it is very dim.
The brightness knob is a push pull. Not very much diff between the two.
