For noise compliance the organizers want to know what stage (1,2 or 3) my aircraft is classified. Stage 1 aircraft are prohibited. The best I can find, the L-29 is not classified and therefore either stage 1 or exempted. does anyone know the correct answer to this question? The new law gives operators of what FAA registration records indicate are more than 850 Stage 2 aircraft until the end of 2015 to modify their aircraft to meet new standards or discontinue their use in U.S. airspace over the contiguous 48 states. This applies to privately owned jets. Does anyone know if the experimental warbirds are exempt from this? -----Original Message----- From: owner-l29-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-l29-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of ershire Sent: Wednesday, February 22, 2012 10:19 AM Subject: L29-List: Noise Standards I have been asked to consider bringing my L-29 to a Wings and Wheels display at the Teterboro airport outside NYC in June.
