They are a little more than twice the width of the stock tips. It took about a day to install both tips. While flying I saw a plus 200 to 400 foot in the climb rate (increase) and 2 knot decrease in the dirty stall configuration and the 29 was very stable and smooth though out all flight phases, but the aileron roll was slower. The 29 also seems to want to stay in landing ground effect longer while in the roll-out, landing with speed brakes becomes more a requirement than an option. What do you think of this kind of mod? -------- Bill Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=378028#378028 Attachments: http://forums.matronics.com//files/dsc_0478_211.jpg ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 02:26:15 PM PST US Subject: Re: L29-List: L-29 wing tips From: Bill Geipel Where can I see the wing tips?
