Alfonz,
I have many friends that speak Russian. Would love to talk to this guy
for parts. Do you have his contact information?

reasonable prices. Does not speak English only Czech and Russian so if
some bits are needed, just let me know. I=92m happy to help.

Hi Paul,
Sorry to hear of your decision. Wish I was able to take her off your
hands, you have done some great work getting to this stage. Are you
going to keep the web site going?
Cheers,

Hi Dennis,
Good to hear from you.
To answer your question, no I basically have only the parts that I
removed from my airframe in order to restore it.
It seems that flight control surfaces, engines and canopies are
getting hard to find. I think the $17,500 I am asking for mine is less
than the value of the individual stripped parts.
Cheers
Paul

You might remember me as the guy who purchased Number 55 at the same
time you purchased your aircraft. I've watched your progress and fully
realize the amount of time, talent and treasure required to get your
project to the current status.
My aircraft is still untouched and hope to get some additional time
to begin the restoration process. The current economic climate is
forcing everyone to work, smarter, harder and longer just to keep from
going backwards. Then, there is the never ending regulations and red
tape from the FAA just to fly these aircraft.
Did you ever accumulate any additional replacement parts? I was able
to secure some parts, but have been looking for a good deal on a
replacement, zero-time engine along with anything else that might be
desirable for future usage.
Thanks
Dennis

Subject: L29-List: L-29 project for sale
Hi all,
I have reluctantly decided to sell my L-29 project. I just have too
many other commitments right now and I'd like to see someone complete
this aircraft.
The aircraft is a 1973 C model from the Romanian AF. It was
airworthy when it was crated and shipped to me. It is in excellent
condition.
I have completely stripped the airframe down to the metal sub
assemblies. All the paint is off, wiring and hydraulics are out. The
cockpit, wings, center section and tail are all in cradles with wheels
for easy movement.
I have all the original components, logs, low time engine etc.
This would make a great starting point for a Reno racer - stripped
off all obsolete equipment it would also be one of the lightest L-29s.
The airframe is in superb condition and would only need a couple of
days of prep work before priming and painting.
Everything is located in Fitchburg MA and I have a team of folks who
would be willing to help load the aircraft onto a truck(s).
Make me an offer.
Best regards
Paul Hathaway
