No, they don't. Said everything they had was in a museum. Because of the sc
arcity of original fuel filters, they are trying to determine if some other
aircraft has something that could be used to replace the old filter.=C2-
Have a company that will make new filters but can't find a company that wi
ll reverse engineer the old filter.

There is an endless supply of the L29 fuel filters available in Europe.
The cost is about $75 usd each plus shipping. Much cheaper if someone
is willing to buy 50 or more at a time. Probably in the $45 to $50
each range
Price an American aircraft fuel filter . Im sure they are just as much.
To buy these for auto filter prices, it needs to be volume purchase.
There is no reason to reverse engineer since the filters are around.
Put together a 50 or more order and I will be glad to bring them back in
my luggage.
The issue is that nobody is going to go over there and get them to make
$100 and drive 3 or 4 hours to the location and the shipping also is
expensive. Answer is volume purchase. Just my opinion
