How much for a set? =C2-There is a distributor in the US for the main tir
es but he is pricey. About $350+ for each main tire the last time I checked
and that doesn't include tubes. =C2-I haven't had any problems with the
NOS tires from Petr but new current run tires would be nice.=C2-
Mitis also has offices in NC and I contacted them several years ago. Said s
ince they are military tires, would need a broker in Czech Republic that ca
n export military items. =C2-Same tires used on Czech LET aircraft so hav
e to make sure it says for LET for customs.
If we can get orders for 25 + sets at a reasonable price, I'm in for a set.

The last new tires ever made by barum where left overs from the Egypt LOT
=C2-contract circa 2000. I bought almost all of that inventory. =C2-But
they are now all used up. Other people have tires but unknown production d
ates. I think going for fresh new rubber makes sense. =C2-At least that i
s my plan. =C2-I probably will buy 10 to 15 sets. Sell some and keep the
rest for my 2 birds.=C2-

The older "new" tires are perfectly fine as long as they haven't been expos
ed to UV light.
Rubber doesn't deteriorate or lose structural integrity if stored indoors a
nd they will perform as good as a newly manufactured tire. The rubber used
in the older tires may even be better quality than tires manufactured rece
ntly, so Anthony's source of tires would very desirable especially if they
are readily available.

for the main tires but he is pricey. About $350+ for each main tire the la
st time I checked and that doesn't include tubes. I haven't had any proble
ms with the NOS tires from Petr but new current run tires would be nice. </
