      Hi D,I'm in Virginia.=C2-
      I checked the flap switches in the LH wing as you directed. All seem to be 
      working. There are 4 switches that I could see. 2 are on the wing rib, one 
      up front and one to the rear. I assume those are limit switches that stop t
      he flap movement at the up position and the full down position. The other 2
       are on the bottom of the wing and are activated by the flap mechanism. All
       my switches have a rubber like protective covering on the plunger except f
      or the switch that is compressed when the flaps are up. It looks to be a li
      ttle dirty so maybe it stuck and disabled the system. Guess I'll clean and 
      see what happens.
