We just removed a smoke system from our L-29. We are willing to sell you the components
for $350 plus shipping.
Dave Canavo (sp?) designed and installed the system. It functioned well but it
is heavy.
One tank was installed on the RCP floor in front of the stick and another in the
"storage bin" in the left aft portion of the fuselage above the speed brake.
Low pressure hoses ran from the tanks to a Flojet pump and solenoid.
We never used it (previous owner had it installed) but I understand it was activated
from the stick or throttle.
We didn't take photos before removal but we may have some photos that inadvertently
captured the installation.
Dan, where are you located? Since the tanks have residual oil it may be better
to physically hand them over than to ship.
