John, There are a few options out there. There is a guy in Germany that services them, but it is pricey. If memory serves, he was charging me around 3,000 Euros for a unit. I do not have a core to send back to him, but if you do there is a credit for the core. info@aero-contact.com Some guys changed their bottle for a North American bottle. I believe they use a 30301102 fire bottle. You can find plenty of them on Controller. New and used. They are APU fire bottles. I do not know how much work is required to make it fit in the 29. http://www.controller.com/list/PartsSearch.aspx?PartNum=30301102 Personally, I am looking at a different option. I am looking at a RC-500-E. It is an electrically controlled race car fire suppression system that uses a Dupont Halon replacement. My mechanics knows their products and has worked with them before. He is confident they would work good in our airplane. Plus, the price is right. http://www.firebottleracing.com/shop/electrical-systems/rc-500e/ As always, your mileage may vary. John, We had ours serviced not long ago, but my jet partner had it done so I'm not sure where he sent it. I have included him in this email and perhaps he can email you some info. Christian, his email is jetblast1@me,com if you could send him info on where you got our bottle serviced. Stan Recently there was a discussion on the list about a replacement for our engine fire suppression bottles. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that services our existing bottles. John F.
