I used a Zodiak repair kit. You can find them at most marine shop for about $20.
The patches are Kevlar reinforced, so it helps in holding the pressure. The
valve on my rear canopy has been holding at 40atm for about a month now.
I needed to glue two layers of patch to get the proper thickness. And it took quite
some time to produce the first seal. The patch is difficult to cut and we
wanted to be sure we got the circle right. It basically took me a day to make
the seals alone. I did 3, so now I have a spare.
