Hi Again, I'm not 100% sure I follow what you mean by a stuck micro switch. I have drained the emergency line in the right wheel well. The right wing root has 3 micro switches...one being 0, the other which is currently pushed in for lack of better words being 30. The flaps are currently at 30. The third micro switch is in the middle of the track from underneath and it also is pushed in with a tab. The switches that are not in use at the moment move freely. The left wing root only has two, one being 0, the other 30. In the front cockpit I have the 0 and 30 flap lights illuminated and in the rear only the 30. Also I have used the HYD dump valve after which you can hear some bubbling, etc. When I go to check the fluid in the tank, it appears pressurized. Loosen the cap and fluid starts pouring out. Thanks for any help you could give. Richard Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=470259#470259

If the flaps 0 green light is on the system thinks the flaps are up. That is the issue. Have you put a long screw driver in there and made sure the 0 micro switch is popped out? Try to push it in all the way and then pry it out all the way if it doesnt come out by itself. Should be an audible click in both directions. Have to ask, did you check the circuit breaker switches? No offense. Are any of the flap selector buttons stuck in the down (pushed) position? One other question, in the right wheel well on some models, there are 2 drain valves. One is near the leading edge the other is straight up above the tire. In other models there is only one and that model will have a handle with a red knob on it below the throttle on the side wall. What have you got? The one above the tire is the flap drain. bill > On Jun 20, 2017, at 06:37, RJM <Richard@mrazek.net> wrote: > > > Hi Again, > > I'm not 100% sure I follow what you mean by a stuck micro switch. Thanks Bill, All breakers appear good and the buttons are functioning normally. This airplane has the single drain valve in the wheel well along with the red handled dump valve in the cockpit. The micro switches appear to work and the spring feels quite strong when you press in on the switch. I will try again and see if I can hear the clicks. I should probably pull the plug off and check them with a meter. Thanks for the suggestions. Thanks, Richard > On Jun 20, 2017, at 11:09 AM, William Geipel <l129bs@gmail.com> wrote: > > > If the flaps 0 green light is on the system thinks the flaps are up. That is the issue. I had that problem on my L-29. They would work when I had a high power setting. Turned out to be a weak amd worn out hydro pump Gregory "Wired" Colyer www.AceMakerAirshows.com 415-531-0970 Join us on Facebook www.facebook.com/AceMakerAirshows Twitter @AceMaker33 > On Jun 20, 2017, at 10:07 AM, William Geipel <l129bs@gmail.com> wrote: > > > If the flaps 0 green light is on the system thinks the flaps are up.
