This will rapidly brake it to a stop. After power is removed the actuator will not back-drive so it needs no brake to hold it in position. On my ES I arranged a cam and micro-switch arrangement that works essentially like that in all the Cessnas so I have a pre-select actuation system. Gary Casey ES #157
