<<lycon in visalia has a sump that fits alancair 4 continental 550 mount
for a
lycoming 540>>
But as far as I know it isn't available for sale - at least not 6 months
ago. I am planning to put together an engine mount that would allow any 540
to be mounted without modification.
<<I'm hoping someone can help in the search for seat frames for the Lancair
Super
ES. Has anyone modified other seat framework to make them more functional
(forward
and reclining).>>
My sentiment exactly. My wife has instructed me to make the seats recline
and I intend to obey. The standard seats are so heavy and "kludgy" (a
standard engineering expression) they insult my sensibility. Someone once
said a Honda seat, including the electric actuators, makes a good basis for
a seat ??
