--> Lancair-List message posted by: "N320GG" <n320g@hotmail.com> Someone posted looking for a Lancair 235 a while back. Yesterday I flew and down to Taft (o17), near Bakersfield and visited with Everett Williams, we had a nice visit. Everett has been flying since 1943, has built 4 other homebuilts besides Lancair N207EW. He has also rebuilt a half dozen factory aircraft. The airplane appeared to be well built and straight, Everett is quick to point out all flaws and shortcomings. He seems to be one of those guys who like to under-state and over-deliver. I have pictures and will share what little I know with anyone interested. Just email me direct at n320g@hotmail.com. Here are the particulars of Everett's airplane: Price slashed to $48,275, empty weight is 913 # gross weight is 1600 lbs. 687 lbs. useful. the plane holds 48 gal. of fuel. & has a range of approx. 1000 miles. radio gear consists of a terra 760 try nav.C transponder is a terra 250 with mode C altitude reporting fly buddy, transmit, button on stick. voice activated intercom. the instruments are airspeed in both knots & m.p.h .altimeter , artificial horizon , turn & bank vertical speed directional gyro vertical card compass.& vac gauge. the engine is a Lycoming 0320 E2D Cruise speed at 75% power is 180 MPH. at 8 gal. per hr. Landing speed at approx 70 MPH. It will burn Mogas. has 330 hrs since new . the air frame has 211 hours on it . EXTRAS are 1/4 thick smoke tint canopy sub dorsal fin extra tall rudder with 3 hinges instead of two. horizontal stab has extra spar & ribs vertical stab has extra ribs. it has nav. lights that incorporate position lights tail & strobe lights the landing lights are on the retractable gear . the plane is a easy 8 my reason for selling is my age. any further questions. contact me at 661-763-1258 regards, Everett Williams.
