I would appreciate any info on the following: - Local sources (East Coast) for orientation & advanced training in the aircraft. - General performance specs for the 360. Can't find anything on LANCAIR's website since they no longer sell the kit. - Any words of wisdom you might like to offer. Thanks, Greg Dexter ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 09:52:43 PM PST US From: Dww0708@aol.com Subject: Re: Lancair-List: LANCAIR 360 TRAINING --> Lancair-List message posted by: Dww0708@aol.com I am in West TN and fly a IVP around and think it is like a very slippery Baron 58. Use flaps for takeoff and keep 100 IAS till short final then transition from glidepath to flair 80/70 with power removed at initiation of round out. Carry extra speed you float,a lot. Full stall landings are so neat in that airplane. Nose wheel remains aloft even though wing has totally relinquished all lift. I love the airplane plenty. It has surplus thrust like a gorilla on steroids. Would not want to fly it over gross or out of CG at all. David
