I have a good grasp on the problems with the Enginair V8 conversions a few years ago but is there ANYONE out there who has successfully hung one of the GM LS V8 engines on a Lancair IV (or Legacy). Alternatively is there anyone who has unsuccessfully done so and is willing to talk about it. Thanks ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 09:27:39 AM PST US Subject: Re: Lancair-List: Engine choice for Lancair IV From: tom.on.the.road@juno.com I saw a v-8 on an ES a few years ago at Copperstate, but haven't heard any more about it. ____________________________________________________________ Groupon™ Official Site 1 ridiculously huge coupon a day. The guy at what used to be Vesta Propeller was building one with his prop. Highly doubt that was ever finished. A close second is the Wheeler Express guy who crashed and burned in a Texas field a few years back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln3BUn3rIQQ If you like to tinker this may be fun - don't do it if you really want to buy gas and go flying. The person who took it doesn't know a Chevy from a Ford from a Lancair or Wheeler. http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2690353160000448860dXnrBN Glenn E.
