Thanks Jim!
Life-long dreams really can come true.
I looked at all the rest and chose the best, Arion Lightning.

Hot digity...

Has anyone come up with a canopy lock from the outside for when plane is
parked on the ramp to satisfy the FAA? Tex

On my Esqual, I lock it with a padlock at the back of the clam shell canopy (in
the middle) where it meets the fueslage.
Took some aluminum and put bends in it to match up with the inside molded lip and
fuelage where the canopy meets. The aluminum piece has a tab that extends up
between the canopy and fueslage a couple of inches. Then I take a flat rectangle
piece of alumnium (with rubber glued to the bottom) that is slotted so that
it will slide down over the tab extension, where it lays across the top of
part of the canopy and part of the fuselage. The padlock then goes near the top
of the tab extension. Very simple to put on and take off. Could be defeated
with effort.
